Breakfast was the typical hodgepodge of Asian and Western buffet with your choice of eggs on the side. Adequate and staff were helpful but hardy extravagent. Allowed me to fill up for the day, that was good. The rooms are large and airy and the airconditioning perfect. Views of the surrounding city (from the 15th flr) were great. Pool on the 4th floor was large, clean and cool - really nice for an afternoon or morning cool off and generally uncrowded. 2 elevators so the wait times were low. Hard Rock Cafe just to the front of the building and opposite a 24hr McDonalds. Several food and souvenior markets within walking distance and LohKroh Road night life a 100 or so meters away.

Property was in a good location, with a very nice restaurant just outside, just a short walk from the hotel was the night market with food kiosks and small bars, walking across the road took you to loikron road boxing stadium where it more lively with girly bars massage etc,The room was big, comfortable bed,and not noisy.Breakfast was adequate although a limited choice but for the price of the rooms it’s not costing you much, pool area was quite although big enough for a swim, great staff.Chaing Mai is not a expensive area.

In the heart of the Night Market area in the middle.of Loi Kroh Rd meant lots.of eateries and shops, money changer etc - though prices drop if you wander a bit further afield. Old world opulence now some what faded but adds to the charm. Large room with a good view over the town and a full size bathtub. Breakfast was mix western/Thai and although selection was small, the helpings were fine and good to fill up to face the day Great swimming pool on the 4th floor - decent size and seemed to always be cool and clean.

This place really grew on me. I thought I would give it a bad review for being so old, but it's definitely got a certain charm to it. The staff were always pleasant. Everything was cleaned daily. The location can't be beat if the night markets are your thing. The breakfast is pretty good. The rooms are huge. The view is nice, but a little blocked from the other hotels. The a/c is powerful, but the controller, in my room anyway, was tricky to use. Elevators are pretty quick.

Room is very spacious and clean. Hot water flask available. Bed is comfortable. Air-con working well. Bathroom comes with a bathtub as well. Pool is small but I enjoy my time there as there's no one else using it. Staff are friendly. No buffet breakfast, but its set breakfast is alright, quite filling. It's in a good location, very close to a number of night markets and food streets, and a mall with supermarket. Walking distance to Chinatown area.
